What a gorgeous city is Burlington! It’s ideally located right beside the city of Hamilton and buyers will come from either direction to this wonderful location. The GO Train connects Burlington to Toronto and it’s just a drive over the Skyway bridge to Hamilton. Your buyers will come to you from either direction!

Major transportation corridors through the city include the Queen Elizabeth Way, Highway 403, Highway 407, and Dundas Street (Highway 5). Commuter rail service is provided by GO Transit at 3 stations (Aldershot, Appleby, and Burlington). Via Rail can be accessed at Aldershot.

The Burlington Skyway spans the Burlington Bay Canal and is part of the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) highway linking the Niagara Region with Toronto.

Burlington enjoys a diverse economic base due to its proximity to large industries in southern Ontario (Canada’s largest consumer market), its location within the Greater Toronto Area (at the hub of the Golden Horseshoe) and its transportation infrastructure including the Port of Hamilton.

Burlington has many parks and parkland throughout the City, as well as extensive walking paths along the shore of the Lake Ontario. It’s picturesque to say the least.

Burlington will appeal to families with its larger homes, recreational opportunities, proximity to Lake Ontario, and commuting distance to Toronto and Hamilton.

Being outside of Toronto, Buyers will only pay one Land Transfer Tax. This is another appealing feature for exiting Torontonians.
